St John’s Home

A Place of Hope and Healing

At St. John’s Home, we stand strong in our belief of empowering individuals and fighting against injustice. We are more than just a crisis center; we are a sanctuary of love and a catalyst for positive change in our community.

Understanding the Challenge

The Roma community in Bulgaria is a group that has faced unfair treatment and difficulties for a long time. Because of discrimination and not being treated equally, many people in this community live in extreme poverty and can’t find jobs. This means they also have a hard time getting to doctors or hospitals when they’re sick, finding good opportunities to improve their lives, and going to college or university.

When we talk about the problem of human trafficking, we have to look at the bigger picture. This includes all the different challenges that make it easier for exploitation to happen, like being very poor, not having enough food, facing discrimination, not having a job, and struggling with personal and community well-being.

How You Can Help

By working together, we can make a big difference in the lives of the Roma community and fight against human trafficking. We invite you to join us in this important effort. Together, we can create a brighter future for everyone, filled with hope, equality, and opportunity.
